Smart city, digital twin and geospatial data platforms — built on spatio-temporal infrastructure and delivered as working systems.

Smart City

Smart City Solutions

One platform for the data a city already produces.

A full three-dimensional ecological model covering mountains, water, forest, farmland, lakes, grassland, towns and villages — supporting the whole chain from spatial planning and ecological protection through approval, supply, use, replenishment and survey.

Base geographic information services for public security, fire, water, transport, social governance and government affairs.

Digital Twin

Digital Twin City

A real world in digital space, where the virtual and the real are blended.

  • A full CIM model ladder: surface models (DEM+DOM) → frame models → standard models (at least 0.5 m) → fine models (at least 0.2 m) → functional level (at least 0.05 m, BIM+LiDAR) → component level (at least 0.02 m) → part level (at least 0.01 m)
  • Multi-source capture: UAV, camera, LiDAR and satellite
  • Automated LOD1.3 model generation from multi-source data, with more than 30 model editing tools and more than 20 quality inspection operators
  • Cloud-rendered 3D visualization that moves heavy rendering off the client, with streaming data handled server-side
  • Scene simulation: natural resource dynamics, street lighting and traffic flow, city night lighting and weather
  • 3D analysis: sunlight, height-limit, viewshed, hemispherical shielding, regional fire simulation and highlight bloom
  • Address-based spatio-temporal data fusion, using a unified standard address to link people, housing, enterprises and events
Geospatial Data

Open Geospatial Engine (OGE)

Full-stack spatio-temporal information infrastructure.

Developed by the team of Academician Jianya Gong at Wuhan University, China. Officially launched in January 2024.

  • Four core centres: Resource Centre, Development Centre, Application Centre and Competition Centre
  • Approximately 900,000 Earth observation images across 7 major categories and 30 sub-categories, including MODIS, Sentinel, Landsat, Gaofen and Luojia-1
  • More than 5 million sample images across 5 major categories and 87 sub-categories, covering scene classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, change detection and 3D reconstruction
  • Approximately 260 operator models covering vector processing, raster processing, DEM analysis, spatial statistics and thematic analysis
  • Cloud-native architecture with Kubernetes container orchestration and the GeoCube spatio-temporal data cube, aligning data into Analysis Ready Data
  • AI remote sensing on a self-controlled deep learning framework with a large open training data repository, aligned to the OGC TrainingDML-AI GeoAI standard
  • Application Centre interactive models: NDVI extraction, water body change analysis, building extraction and AI cultivated-land extraction

Referenced applications built on the platform by its developers: Taihu Lake Meteorological Disaster Monitoring System · Yushu Earthquake Natural Disaster Monitoring System · Polar Situation Awareness System · Safety Monitoring Cloud Platform · Ground Subsidence Monitoring System · Digital Intelligence Talent Online Education Experimental Innovation Platform.

Transportation

Intelligent Transportation

Managing people, vehicles, roads, enterprises and environment as one picture.

  • Real-time access to citywide key vehicle, driver, enterprise and road operation data
  • Electronic profiles for individuals, vehicles, roads and enterprises, with scoring-based early-warning supervision
  • Parametrized, any-combination reporting, including rankings of key illegal road sections, vehicles and enterprises
  • Emergency command: real-time dispatch navigation, dynamic route planning, nearby resource linking, predefined activity routes, dynamic deployment and video tracking

In the platform provider’s reference deployments, the Wuhan Mayor’s Hotline appeal response time is cited as reduced from 20–30 minutes to 1–2 minutes, and a collaborative reporting workflow in Hangzhou is cited as saving 17 hours of reporting time with average processing time reduced by 2 seconds. These figures relate to the platform provider’s own deployments in China.
